Meet Drop’d - Nails by Lauren
Drop’d - Nails by Lauren was born from a hobby. This brand is my creative outlet and a way to share handcrafted designs with a wider audience. Each month, I drop over 20 new nail sets inspired by trends, moods, and moments. Drop’d is where I freestyle my best work, offering both pre-designed collections and fully custom options. Quality and originality matter to me—what I put out is a true reflection of the passion behind every set.
Meet the Founder
As a college student, I fell in love with nail art after watching mesmerizing videos of nail techs on Instagram. What started as a curiosity quickly became an obsession. I watched everything from dip powder tutorials to acrylic and gel application videos. In 2018, I received my first dip powder set as a Christmas gift, and from there, I never looked back.
Over the years, I explored every technique I could get my hands on: gel polish, acrylics, poly gel, gel-x, and more. I taught myself through countless hours on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Eventually, I found my groove in gel-x and freehand gel designs. Doing my own nails became a form of therapy, an outlet for self-expression and creativity.
Later, I started teaching a high school elective course on nail art and design, passing on a skill I had spent five years perfecting. Then in 2025, I began creating custom press-ons as requests or gifts for friends, family, coworkers, and students. The feedback was overwhelming, people loved them and encouraged me to start selling.
